- George received his Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK in 1979, majoring in Animal Science with a minor in Agribusiness. He received his Associate Degree in Agriculture from Northeastern Oklahoma A & M College at Miami, OK in 1977.
- George has been the owner of Clift Land Brokers located in Amarillo, Texas since 1997.
George is a member of National Association of Realtors,

Amarillo Chamber of Commerce, and
Texas Cattle Feeders Association. George has served as Amarillo Tri-State Fair Board Member and
Potter County Fair Board Member. George served as President of Johnston County, Oklahoma Livestock Association.
- George is a Real Estate Broker having started his career in real estate in 1997.
George spent 18 years with Purina Mills, Inc. as District Manager/Cattle Specialist. George has attended many Business & Livestock Seminars/Short Courses, including Range Management, Intensive-Grazing Management, Livestock Production
Management, Business Management, Financial Analysis for Retail Businesses, and Retail Marketing and Sales
- George earned his Accredited Land Consultant (ALC)designation in 2005. While with Purina Mills, Inc., George was awarded sales achievement honors 8 out of 13 years.
George was one of the Top Ten Graduates in Agriculture at Oklahoma State University.
